I glanced up to the window,
As all the room went still,
A little Robin redbreast,
Settled on my window sill.
It fluttered about its business,
As its feet had settled there.
It had come upon a mission,
It had flown from heaven to here.
It looked with expectation,
So I fed it from my hand,
And chirped a special language,
Only birdies understand.
So I share this special notice,
You may wonder how I know.
You arrived safely there in heaven,
A little birdie told me so.
